Too often projects are not quoted correctly, which can make the initial offering seem like the most cost effective. Unfortunately, due to several factors these bids may not be complete and can end up costing more in the form of change orders for work that should have been included in the original bid. Change orders are often not quoted at the same rates as the original bid and can add up fast.

* Meeting with your team to determine your network needs and goals.

 

* Evaluating the sites where work will be performed to establish a scope of work at each site.

 

* Provide product suggestions to be used as minimum compliance requirements.

 

* Assist in ensuring the request for proposal includes all necessary information to be sent to potential bidders.

* Accompany your Technology staff during mandatory or optional walk-throughs of sites with potential bidders.

 

* Review and aid in answering questions about the project asked because of the RFP and walk-throughs.

 

* Review bid response scopes of work and material listed on the quote to ensure compliance with the RFP and answer questions received during the process.

 

* Verify the legitimacy of change order request.

 

* Perform end of project walk-throughs with clients to ensure completeness of work performed.
